The Process:
1. Research:
First off you individually need to search for research about Sacagawea. Find a website, a book, or anything that will give you information about Sacagawea's life. Also when your researching pick one seen in here life to write about that is fit for you and that you think will give you that right inspiration to write your diary entry! And always remember your not writing about Sacagawea and how she lived her life, your writing as if you were Sacagawea and how would you live her life the way you think she should live it.
2. Make a Web:
Then after your done with your researching start brainstorming! Make a web our list to write down ideas first. It's very important for a good writer to have good and planned ideas out before writing. Make at least 4 or more bubbles or boxes and in each one give it a name. First make a bubble in the center of a paper and inside write the title of your diary entry. Be sure to have a unique title to grabs your readers attention. Next make three or more bubbles around the one in the center and title then Introduction, Paragraph 2, and Paragraph 3(or more if you write more paragraphs); or if you want create a unique name for each of them. By the way, these bubbles stand for each of your three paragraphs. Next just start brainstorming on what goes into each paragraph explaining what that paragraph is mainly about. And Remember to have fun and remember to think creatively so that your writing will catch a bunch of attention.
3. Write your First Draft:
Then when your finished brainstorming get started. Write at least three paragraphs or more for your first draft. Also make it interesting. Include facts that you believe nobody herd before. Also don't forget to make it 100% you (meaning all of your writing and no coping and pasting if typed.
(This is what your first and secound draft should look like. Well writen and checked)
4. Write your Secound Draft:
Then after finishing your first draft, then getting it checked by a friend, parent, or teacher for mistakes you would be ready to make your next draft. For this draft you would not only be copying your work but also doing over your mistakes that you have done in the first draft.
4. Write your Final Draft:
Then when you are completely done writing your secound draft just to be sure asked a peer to check it. What your peer would do is a peer-check. Peer-checking is when your peer checks for mistakes on your paper that you wrote. Once your peer is finished start writing your final draft. This is the draft that you will turn in to your teacher and the draft that you would preset to your class, so make it well- written and try your best all the way!
6. Present:
Then finally don't be shy and read your writing! You see, after your done writing include a presentation and present your writing to the whole class. And trust me they all would love it but only if you bring all you got in you. Have fun presenting and don't be shy. Be creative have a play or just read but read with inspiration!
Dont be shy .......... give it a try!
